Queen Village Animal Hospital is seeking a talented, compassionate, enthusiastic full-time associate veterinarian. We are located in the vibrant Queen Village section of Philadelphia. Queen Village Animal Hospital has won Veterinary Hospital of the year from both Philly Magazine (2012) and Philly Happening (2015 & 2016). We currently have 5 doctors and are seeking a full-time associate to join our team. Our practice is well equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, in house lab (IDEXX), doppler, tonometry, a full surgery suite, treatment areas and overnight staff.
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of small animal experience providing clinical, surgical, and dental services. He or she should be able to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clients. The candidate should be adept at most common soft tissue surgical procedures; interest in small mammal (rodents, guinea pigs, rabbits) medicine is a plus.
Our team is passionate about caring for animals and we value that passion, hard work, and dedication. We are problem solvers and like to find the best and, often, most cost-effective treatment plans for our clients and patients. Most of our doctors and support staff have been with the hospital for over 10 years and we pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy and supportive work environment.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, paid vacation time, CE allowance, medical & dental insurance, VIN membership, professional fees & liability coverage, and discounts on pet services and products. (401k soon to be added)
We are privately owned and will always stay that way.
