Opportunity for an Emergency Room (ER) Veterinarian New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Care has an immediate opening for an ER Veterinarian. NEVCCC is a rapidly growing multi-specialty, emergency, and general practice in North Central Connecticut that opened in 2011. Our 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility includes digital radiography, color flow ultrasonography, a 16 slice helical CT scanner, video endoscopy/bronchoscopy, and a linear accelerator for radiation therapy. We have three surgical suites fully equipped for general, orthopedic, neurologic, oncologic and ophthalmologic surgery. NEVCCC is a full-service animal hospital, offering a wide range of services from general wellness health care to emergency and specialty referral services.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the below characteristics. Perform emergency procedures and monitor the recovery process. Evaluate traumatic injuries, performing surgical procedures, evaluating diagnostic tests, compiling detailed case reports, supervising intensive care units, and provides specialty consultations on referral cases. Excellent at working with animals that are suffering the effects of physical trauma, shock, respiratory problems, cardiac problems, neurological issues, or other severe injuries that require immediate and intensive veterinary care.
