Require a minimum of 2 paid relief shifts before hiring
Our relief shift pays $800 per day for 10 hours , 11am – 9pm. We are also prepared to reimburse for airfaire, hotel, car rental, etc for having to travel for relief shifts if hired with signed contract.
We are flexible with the working schedule so to accommodate for our associate veterinarians to spend time with their family and/or to be able to continue relief work to maximize personal income or pay off student loans (plenty of relief positions available nearby).
If you would like to learn more and master endoscopy, ultrasound, and/or orthopedics, we will pay for your wet labs, CE, as well as travel expenses.
20K sign on bonus. Compensation for relocation and/or transition
Salary for full time (4 x 10hr shifts): $150,000 to $200,000 annually, DOE
Salary will be adjusted for part time
20% commission for doctor services or guarantee salary. Whichever is higher

Friendly Animal Hospital is a small animal practice located in Huntington Beach. We are about 10 minutes from the sand. Friendly Animal Hospital (www.friendlyah.com) consist of 2,400 sq. ft., 3 exam rooms, endoscopy, ultrasound, full in-house lab, digital x-ray, and digital dental imaging with Dentalaire full service equipment. We also use PetRays for radiology consultations with a turn around tim...e as quick as 30 minutes. We have an orthopedic surgeon on staff, and a cardiologist and internist available by appointment. We are a growing hospital and encourage, support, and offer access to unlimited continuing education for our doctors and staff.
