The role of the Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) is to greet clients and their pets and make them feel comfortable at the hospital from check-in to check-out. The CSR is also responsible for maintaining the appointment schedule, managing medical records, and communicating with clients about their pets' needs. Responsibilities include the following: Answering multiple telephone lines, preparing and receiving faxes, organize and stock office supplies, manage a cash drawer, collect and process payments, prepare deposits, provide hospitality services to new and existing clients, communicate with clients via telephone and email regarding pet care, fill and dispense medications as prescribed by the veterinarians, approve online order requests, check and respond to emails, manage reminders, daily cleaning duties, help care for pets in the hospital and help out in other areas of the hospital as needed.
Working hours are Monday & Thursday 7AM to 8PM; Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 7AM to 6PM and Saturdays 8AM to 1PM. Holiday and weekend work is required.
