Fishtown Animal Hospital in Philadelphia, PA is a privately owned practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! Established in 2014, we are proud to emphasize the importance of the human-animal bond while utilizing conventional and alternative medicine to facilitate long-term relationships between companion animals and their families.
You have a strong work ethic, are hard working, possess great communication skills, and have a strong interest in high-quality traditional and alternative medicine as well as surgery. You should have have a minimum of 2 years experience in general practice and have solid surgical and dental skills, but if you are newer graduate, you will also be considered.
We offer a wide range of services including wellness, dental and digital radiography, basic surgery, full in-house laboratory and pharmacy, acupuncture and laser therapy.
We take our mission of helping pets and families to the next level with our in-hospital 501c3 charity, Fishtails Animal Rescue. Our charity not only rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes pets, it aids pet owners who find themselves in temporary financial crisis when their pet needs life-saving veterinary care. While costs are an inevitable part of owning a companion animal, Fishtails Animal Rescue seeks to cover medical costs, beyond routine veterinary care, to avoid surrender and/or euthanasia. We do this through our Fishtails Fighting Chance Fund.
