Fairview Hospital for Animals is looking for an experienced, full-time veterinarian with an interest in surgery, dentistry and ultrasonography to join our team. Located in Decatur, IL our small animal practice has served the community for seventy years, thirty under current ownership in a recently constructed facility. We are looking for a passionate veterinarian eager to advance the human-animal bond by building lasting relationships while treating our clients and patients like family. Our hospital team offers a wide range of services for pets including wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry, ophthalmology, digital radiology, laser therapy and surgery. We are a progressive practice that would be open to expanding our services for doctors with an interest in exotics, acupuncture or other special interests.
Decatur, a town of 72,000 people is located in central Illinois between Springfield and Champaign that is home to a small liberal arts university and the clinic is located within a mile of beautiful Lake Decatur.

Skills and Basic Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
2 or more years of experience preferred
Licensure in good standing to practice in Illinois
