Sinton Veterinary Clinic is offering $100,000 base for a 4-day week, every other Saturday, 30-50% call, and 2 weeks paid vacation. We’re a rapidly growing 1.6 doctor mixed practice near Corpus Christi purchased from a 30+ year established clinic in April 2020.   Our mission is efficient, quality medicine with flexible, guilt-free options.  We’re looking for 1-2 full- or part-time veterinarians who can ‘roll with it,’ don’t like to be bored, and love to teach and learn.  We love to mentor and collaborate and are quick to jump in to help each other, but we are also busy and will expect you to work independently. 

The practice is truly mixed: we do a little bit of everything, and each day unfolds differently.  Small animal and exotic exams are performed on a walk-in basis.  Dentals, surgeries, large animal procedures, and farm calls are scheduled. Services of any genre could be added or expanded.  Our customer base is loyal and the staff tenured yet flexible.  We do not board and infrequently hospitalize.  An answering service heavily filters emergencies, and most small animal things go to a nearby ER; large animal calls are few and far between.  Clinic hours are 8-5 M-F and 8-12:30ish on Saturday.  We all have families and do our best to leave on time. In-house full lab and CR radiograph equipment are Idexx; the ultrasound is an Ibex Evo II.  The current software is Cornerstone but I’m actively shopping for a more efficient and user-friendly option; dental radiography is also a 2021 priority.  Life is much more fun with equipment that works well. 

We’re looking for someone with a work hard, play hard attitude, who respects diverse needs and perspectives of both clients and staff, and has a sense of humor- maybe even a bit ornery!  We support you, and you support us.  Our goal is to be a 3-4 vet practice to have even more flexible schedules and play time.  Beyond the base salary, Pro-Sal and/or profit sharing are negotiable after 1 year; part-time and/or flexible hours are definitely an option.  We use People Keep as an insurance option and offer retirement contributions as well.  AVMA, PLIT, Texas license, DEA license, and 2 professional association dues are covered. I love CE and support you getting plenty of it, too. There is intentionally no CE limit; you’ll get the CE you need without cutting into your vacation time.  Relocation stipend is negotiable.  Again, flexible, guilt-free options are how we roll, so if you have other thoughts or needs, let’s talk!
