Hilton Head Veterinary Clinics
Superb opportunity for a superb person. If you are willing to learn to be independent, you desire to develop long term relationships with excellent clients, you want to work in a happy environment free of corporate requirements, you are willing to share the workload, you want to deliver excellent medicine at fair prices, you want to live in a great place and you want a great work/life balance then I want you!!!!!! I am Dr. Kirk Dixon. I have practiced in the Hilton Head area for 36 years, which is longer than any other veterinarian in the history of the area. I still love being a veterinarian and I am happy, so I must be doing a lot of things right. My practice has thrived and grown through the pandemic. I want you to have a long term future with me. I would love to have someone that would want ownership in their future but it is not a requirement. My past associate made more money for less hours worked than almost anyone (>$150,000 for 2019 while taking off over a month for maternity leave) with no hard selling or forced procedures. Unfortunately for me, motherhood inspired her to move near family in Colorado. The typical day starts at 10am and ends by 5pm. I don't spend my days justifying my fees because all of our clients have choice. We give them great information and they choose their treatment plan. I do not force the most expensive option on them and make them decline with guilt. I have clients that have been with us for my entire Hilton Head history. They have watched my family grow up and we laugh about the stories I have told over the years. I have a small staff that decreases the drama. We all chip in where needed and egos need to be checked at the door. I draw blood, trim nails, express anal sacs, fill prescriptions and actually return client phone calls. My office manager shares kennel duty. We work together to get the job done! I have two locations in an area that many people dream of living. This is where the vets move after they work themselves to oblivion in the city and sell out due to burnout. We have ultrasound, digital x-ray, therapeutic laser, blah blah blah. What I have that very few have is an ability to help you practice great medicine, earn an excellent living while having a great life at the same time. Isn't that what everyone wants?? If this excites you then please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!!

Additional Salary Information: pay everywhere is based on production whether salary, pro/sal or commission. It is usually around 20% for services, 10% for drugs and little or nothing on foods. Due to my small staff and low overhead I pay 25% on everything you do. I can also show you how to earn your money as your own company to greatly reduce your taxes. You earn more for less hours while having a great lifestyle which allows the work/life balance that everyone desires.
