Westside Pet Hospital, a small animal hospital located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, would love to add an experienced doctor to our team!

Veterinarians with 3+ years of clinical experience and a passion for surgery and Fear Free medicine are encouraged to apply. Experience with (or an interest in) holistic medicine is a plus, but not required.

Our veterinarian, Dr. Scott Shaw, has decades of experience and is a great resource for mentorship and thought partnership on tough cases. We’re currently searching for an Associate, however, we’re also open to DVMs who would like to take on more of a leadership role as a Medical Director in the future.

Dr. Shaw opened Westside in the summer of 2012 and has a particular affinity for integrating Western medicine and alternative therapies into our services. He founded our hospital on the principles of warmth, friendliness, and family, which we continue to promote today. We have a talented, well-trained team that is prepared to provide a wide range of services. We offer everything from routine check-ups to dermatology, dentistry, acupuncture, critical care, and homeopathic medicine. Additionally, we have positive, longterm relationships with relief doctors in the area, including Dr. Stephanie Sur, so you can confidently take time away knowing your patients are being treated by a familiar face.

We’re searching for a veterinarian who is confidently experienced in surgery and anesthesia. Aside from supporting your professional growth and providing opportunities to collaborate with Dr. Shaw, we also encourage lifelong learning through:
