Come join our team in Holton, KS, as an associate veterinarian. New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply and add to the duo of 2012 KSUCVM graduates Drs. Donald and Amy Sunday. We are a very modern mixed animal practice that is 50% small animal and 50% cattle. Very few horses, pigs and sheep are seen. Dr Amy is a Certified Cat Friendly Practice Veterinarian while Dr. Don is also certified by the American Embryo Transfer Associations and performs conventional ET and OPU for IVF at regional laboratories. The majority of our cattle business is cow/calf with some stocker and feedlot medicine. Large animal facilities include donor cow boarding, hydraulic tilt chute, calving chute, ultrasound, and more.
The position would entail working four weekdays, every third Saturday from 8-12, and 50% of on call for emergencies. We primarily only see large animal emergencies, while most small animal emergencies are sent to the Topeka Animal Emergency Clinic.
We are very open to mentoring new graduates in a healthy teaching/supportive environment.
