Nestled within the enchanting coastal community of Eliot, Maine, we present an enticing blend of professional growth and the coastal Maine lifestyle you've been yearning for. Located just a short 15-minute drive from unspoiled coastlines and the historic city of Portsmouth, and conveniently positioned within an hour of both the lively city of Portland and the bustling metropolis of Boston, our practice offers the best of both worlds. With world-class skiing, invigorating hiking trails, exceptional fishing spots, and easily accessible boating opportunities close at hand, life in our town promises a wealth of exciting experiences.
At Eliot Veterinary Hospital, we prioritize the well-being and professional development of our staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Our well-established and respected practice boasts three examination rooms, fully equipped surgical and dental suites, digital dental radiography, advanced dentistry equipment, digital radiography, a comprehensive in-house IDEXX laboratory, ultrasound, and laser technology. Our staff consists of four licensed veterinary technicians, a well-trained veterinary assistant, two CSRs, a practice manager and our full time owner and veterinarian. A notable distinction is our owner's passion for veterinary behavior, allowing us to provide top-notch medical and surgical care alongside valuable behavior consultations. Additionally, our owner serves on the Board of Directors for Not One More Vet, and our practice is CLEAR Blueprint Certified by NOMV as a mentally healthy workplace. We favor the opportunity to mentor students as they develop in their veterinary career and seek to provide a collaborative, educational experience during their tenure with us.
